With 44 years of services, MND Victoria has continually grown and expanded our services with our mission always in mind: To provide the best possible care and support services to those living with MND.
As the only not-for-profit organisation in Victoria providing direct care to people impacted by this devastating disease, we rely on our community’s support to ensure we can continue providing our life changing services, at no cost to them.

We support people with MND everywhere from metropolitan Melbourne to regional and even rural Victoria.
Regardless of your postcode, one thing remains the same: you have access to the same comprehensive level of support, care, and equipment from MND Victoria, no matter where you live. And that’s because of the wonderful generosity of donors, sponsors and fundraisers who raise the funds required to underwrite these services.
MND Victoria offers services for all those impacted by MND included those diagnosed with the disease, loved ones, carers, friends and for health professionals.
Meet Natalie, she went to one of our Carers Day and this was her experience:
"I went to the Carer Wellness Program in Mornington, and it was fantastic.
I met four other ladies, and we got a WhatsApp group going. We check in on each other every now and again. We did painting, relaxing, sharing and some laughing – and I did some crying. It was a great day, really powerful. I could see it was a relief for the other ladies to just come and do something and meet people who do understand what it’s like to care for a loved one with this disease. Because if you’re not going through it, you don’t understand.”

Services we provide
We provide support services at no cost to the person living with MND/Kennedy's Disease and their loved ones. These support services include, but are not limited to:
Advisor / Support Coordinators
MND Advisors offer information, advice, support, and assess service needs for newly diagnosed individuals and their families.
Equipment service
MND Victoria has a range of assistive technology available to help keep people living with motor neurone disease safe and mobile.
Education and information
The Client Support and Education service provides comprehensive education and information support to people impacted by
MND as well as being the first point of contact for new clients and processing new registrations.
Carer programs
MND impacts more than just the person living with the disease. MND Victoria strives to provide appropriate levels of support to those who are providing care and support to their loved ones.

MND Victoria's vision is 'The best care until the world is free of MND.’ We cannot wait until the day we are no longer required because an effective treatment or cure has been found. But until that day is realised, we will continue providing the best possible care and support to those living with MND, now and in the future.
