Access support process
1. Register for our services
Register using the online form or by phone on (03) 9830 2122 or 1800 777 175 or email at info@mnd.org.au
2. Appointed a MND Advisor
After registration, you will be appointed an MND Advisor.
MND Advisors are to able to provide support in entering the those eligible for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and provide guidance on the planning process.

What is the NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a national scheme for people with a disability.
The NDIS provides reasonable and necessary funding to people under the age of 65 with a permanent and significant disability so they can access the support needed to take part in everyday activities.
Services we provide
MND Advisor and Support Coordinator service
MND Advisors provide support to people living with MND to assist them to live as long as possible with the best quality of life possible.
Equipment service
MND Victoria has developed an extensive range of assistive technology equipment, available free of charge to people with MND.
Access and Education support service
The Access and Education team provide comprehensive education and information support to people impacted by MND as well as being the first point of contact for new clients and processing new registrations.
Carer programs
MND impacts more than just the person living with the disease. MND Victoria strives to provide appropriate levels of support to those who are providing care and support to their loved ones.
Support groups
MND Victoria offers a range of support group programs to support people with MND and their carers, family members and friends.
Volunteer support services
There are a range of services available including hand and foot massage, social visits/phone calls, support to use iPads, writing your life story.
