MND Victoria are here to advocate for the best possible care and support for all Victorians living with motor neurone disease. For 45 years we have worked with politicians across the state, of all levels and political persuasions, to ensure that they know what matters to the MND community.

Over the last few years, under the Allan Labor Government, the MND community has received more governmental support than ever before. MND Victoria were allocated $600,000 in state government funding, which helped provide vital assistive equipment, carer programs, counselling and ongoing advice and support for every Victorian with MND.

Alongside this, MND research into improving health outcomes and treatments remained strong, and the outpouring of support shown by the government towards Emma Vulin and for Neale Daniher was felt throughout the community.

The Victorian Labor government have shown longstanding support for improving awareness, health outcomes, and research into MND. We look forward to working with our new Premier Ben Carroll to better support the 661 Victorians living with MND today.
