In August 2022, I'm going to be challenging myself to trek the Larapinta Trail in support of MND Victoria. MND Victoria provides vital care and support to the 470+ Victorians currently living with MND. They rely heavily on the generosity of donors and fundraisers so that all services, including their vital equipment lending service, can be provided at no cost to those living with MND.

I am doing this trek in memory of my beloved husband John who died from MND in 2019. We were given great support by MND Victoria when John was diagnosed with MND. Later, when we needed equipment so I could care for him safely, and ensure he had as much comfort as possible, MND Victoria delivered important equipment to us for as long as we needed it, all completely free. This included manual and electric wheelchairs, electric recliner chair, commode, walker, roho cushion, chair tray and a hoist. Without the fantastic support of MND Victoria, I could never have cared for John so well at home.

I want to ensure that those living with MND now and in the future can continue to have access to the equipment lending service and other wonderful support that MND Victoria provides. Thank you for your support!
