3 Peaks for Pete is fundraising for
Pete’s story….. 1 beautiful man, Peter Crone, lost his fight against MND in August 2020. He was courageous, determined and strong. A gentle giant, a great problem solver, a man of precision, a sportsman and an adventurer. A son, brother, loving husband, father of 3, grandfather, son in law, brother in law, uncle and friend to many. Pete loved to challenge himself and being part of ‘3 peaks for Pete’, whether trekking or donating, is one way that together we can honour him. So…… In October of this year, we 6 determined women, his wife Nic and 5 Bendigo Rowing Club crew mates - Lynda, Ann-Marie, Deb, Pene and Catherine will participate in the 3 Peaks Challenge for MND Victoria. We will trek 44 km over 3 days across 3 Victorian mountains to raise awareness and money for MND. Have we lost our minds I hear you ask? Possibly. Into the future…. Pete continues to inspire and motivate all of us who have had the pleasure of walking this earth alongside of him. Please get behind us and support us in our quest to honour a truly remarkable man who we miss everyday and still find it hard to believe is no longer with us.
