Hi there! Our sister/aunt/friend, Sue Bruerton of Jeeralang Junction has been diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia combined with Motor Neurone Disease (FTD/MND). We have been fundraising for MND Victoria with some fun and entertaining events, challenges, raffles and merch sales. Join our Facebook Group "Supporting MND for Sue" for all the details. Our Ice Challenge legends from left to right: Lyn Rawson, Jake Green, Ian "Willy" Wilson, Elva Anderson and Trevor Hornibrook (Yinnar Hotel Publican). Was hilarious to watch but more importantly, the amount of sponsorships these champs raised was incredible. Unfortunately, Tanya Crawford and Kiana both had to miss out due to illnesses, but they are determined to complete the challenge when 100% healthy, we can't wait!!
After two cancelled dates (covid lockdowns and restrictions) we were finally able to hold our "Sunday Sippers for Sue" fundraising event with an Ice Challenge. It was an absolute success and we are truly thrilled with the generosity of our friends, family and community. Yinnar Hotel was the perfect venue and from start to finish the energy in the room was magical. So proud to be able to do this in honour of our dear Sue.
