Raj Chakrabarty

Raj was so deeply loved by many — his wife, children, grandchildren, extended family, friends, colleagues, neighbours and the carers, nurses and doctors who walked alongside him with such compassion. Each of us carries a piece of him and we will miss beyond words. He fought a long and courageous battle with MND. Those who knew him will attest to his extraordinary strength, rallying spirit, and sharp, brilliant mind right to the end. A natural problem-solver, engineer, and leader, he spent his life bringing people together and giving generously to his family and community. Above all, he was a devoted father who sacrificed endlessly to give his children the best possible opportunities in life. We are raising funds in his memory to support people living with MND, their families, and the vital research needed to find effective treatments and, one day, a cure. Thank you for helping us honour his life and legacy.
