Laurie "Bushfire" Thornton

Laurie battled with MND for 4 and a half years. He had a life time of community involvement in particular with the CFA as a volunteer. He worked at a number of jobs throughout his life and upon retiring found Geocaching. He was a loved and respected member of the Geocaching community in Geelong, Victoria and throughout Australia. MND Victoria provided assistance and support to Laurie and his family throughout his MND journey. MND Victoria is the only not-for-profit organisation in Victoria that provides care and support services to those living with MND.
