Why we are fundraising

Songs for MND Victoria is a day of live music led by Thom Johnston and an incredible lineup of local musicians and collaborators, all coming together to raise funds and awareness for MND Victoria. This special event is more than just a normal festival - it’s a celebration of community, creativity, and charity. Featuring a rich mix of musical styles including folk, country, rock, blues, and pop, the day promises something for everyone. Whether you’re a supporter of live local music or simply looking for a way to spend your Saturday, this event offers a good excuse to see some great acts for an even better cause. Coinciding with the event is the release of a special compilation album, featuring original songs written and performed by each artist involved. The album will be available to purchase on BandCamp, with physical CDs also on sale at the venue - another way to support the cause and take home a piece of the day. Whether you have a personal connection to motor neurone disease or just want to support an important cause while discovering great music, Songs for MND Victoria is a powerful reminder of what music and community can achieve together.
