Why I am fundraising
My name is Evangelos Goutzioulis and I was diagnosed with motor neurone disease (MND) in February 2026. For those who dont know, MND is a progressive, degenerative disease that attacks the nerves that support movement, speech, swallowing, and breathing. As I begin to navigate this diagnosis, I wish to bring a platform to my broader community, raising funds and awareness in support of those who support me, organisations like MND Victoria. MND Victoria is the only not-for-profit organisation in Victoria that provides care and support services to those living with MND. With your support, we can raise vital funds that are essential for providing direct care, support and vital assistive equipment to not only the person living with MND, but also their loved ones who are on the journey too.
