Why I am fundraising

My name is Katrina, and I’m taking part in the 2026 Ice Bucket Challenge for the Ian Sneddon Golf Day to help raise funds and awareness for MND. Growing up, Mr Sneddon — or “Mr Snedds” as I always called him — was a huge part of my life. I spent so many weekends at their place with his daughter Julie, and he was always kind, welcoming, and full of warmth. He was genuinely one of the great people in my life and someone who meant so much to me.That’s why this challenge is so important to me. I’m doing it in his honour, to support the fight against MND and to help make a difference for other families impacted by this disease.
