Our why:
On the 7th of August 2014 Jenny Simko was given devastating news that would change her life forever. After ten months of medical tests Jen was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). At the age of 53 she was happy, fit, enjoying life, happily married for 30 years, and was a proud mother of 3 wonderful children.
Jen handled her many challenges with MND with incredible positivity, strength, grace, dignity and a sense of calm. Sadly however Jen passed away on the 14th November 2015.
The concept behind ‘Rock Off MND’ was originally conceived by Jen, and we know people will support this great initiative to help work towards finding a cure for this devastating disease. Through Jen’s inspiration we are determined to raise as much money as possible through ‘Rock Off MND’, with all net proceeds being donated to vital MND research.
